Hi, I’m Coach Joi!
I’m a holistic wellness coach and personal trainer, and I wanted to create a healthy space for the moms. A place you can come for physical healing, information, insight, a space that confirms that you’re not crazy and how you’re feeling is normal. And if it isn’t normal, provide you some great solutions and suggestions. I wanted to create a space free of judgement that talks about the craziness that is motherhood.
My Goal As A Coach
My goal as a coach is to teach you how to get stronger mentally and physically, as well as how to develop consistency in your wellness journey.
It’s important to understand that prioritizing your health and wellness is a lifetime practice, and you'll commit and recommit time and time again. Your definition of wellness may change based on the season that you’re in, and honestly it should as you grow and evolve.
So instead of trying to be the “best” version of yourself, I encourage you to search for your “favorite” version of you at all times. That’s where you find the grace you must extend to yourself as you change and the space to find the “Joi” in Wellness.
Hot Mom Wellness is an extension of my coaching services, but for new and expecting mothers looking for holistic healing after having their babies.
My Why For Starting Hot Mom Wellness
I don’t know why we condition ourselves to appear like we have it all together when the actuality of it all is that we’re all winging it and struggling just as much as the next mom. Why do we as women and as mothers judge each other when we could be helping each other through it?
And sure, every baby is different so not all advice will stick to your situation, but there are QUITE a bit of motherhood related things that are universal truths and THIS is the shit that needs to be talked about more.
Hot Mom Wellness is a space that encourages moms to prioritize their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health during the many seasons of motherhood.
You are birthed when your baby is born. You have to learn this new body, this new 24/7 job title, and battle with grieving the woman you were before motherhood, this shit is A LOT! I just wanted to make the journey a little easier and put everything I’ve learned thus far in one place for new moms to reference… because there’s SO much information out there.
Motherhood is stressful enough, why should we put more mental load on our plate than we have to?
